Job Description:
A company is looking for an Engineer/Planner Modeler with
transportation planning and modeling experience.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and run travel demand models and other transportation
analysis modeling tools
Analyze modeling output results for complex traffic impact studies
and various transportation projects
Prepare traffic studies and lead traffic modeling tasks for
environmental analysis and planning projects
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in transportation, civil engineering, urban and
regional planning, or a closely related field
Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in transportation planning,
focusing on travel demand modeling
Knowledge of recent developments in travel demand forecasting,
including activity-based modeling
Awareness of current transportation trends and issues, such as
multi-modal level of service analysis
