Job Description:
A company is looking for a Rating Specialist to support New
Business and Renewal Rating transactions.
Key Responsibilities
Reviews incoming business transactions for completeness and
accuracy, resolving discrepancies with underwriters
Performs rating functions for New or Renewal business quotes across
multiple lines of business
Gathers third-party data for predictive modeling tools to assist
underwriters in risk selection and pricing decisions
Required Qualifications
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
At least 3 years of experience in multi-line Commercial Specialty
lines or prior Rating/Underwriting experience
Knowledge of insurance industry products and services, including
Auto, Workers Comp, and Specialty lines
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions based on
guidelines and metrics
