Job Description:
A company is looking for a Claims Processor to ensure accurate
and timely insurance claim processing.
Key Responsibilities
Update patient accounts, resolve authorization issues, and process
adjustments and denials according to payer rules
Utilize electronic billing systems to follow up on denied claims
and correct missing or invalid information
Research and resolve outstanding claims by communicating with
third-party payers and patients
Required Qualifications
High school diploma required
One year of billing and insurance follow-up experience in a
hospital or physician office setting preferred
General working knowledge of insurance terminology and billing
rules
Knowledge of Epic preferred
Able to prioritize work and exercise independent judgment in
handling patient accounts
